Maybe a new dance partner.
Maybe someone hot catches your eye.
And you absolutely do not need to know how to dance.
We’ll start with the foundations of bachata, learning the basics of leading, following and moving together before bringing everyone onto the floor to practise with different partners.
Rotation is encouraged but always optional.
Expect to move. Laugh. Get things wrong. Try again. Meet people. Feel the music. Get a little closer.
And perhaps discover that dancing with someone tells you considerably more about your chemistry than three weeks of messaging on dating apps ever could.
THE EVENING
18:00 | ARRIVE
Come in, grab a drink, meet the room and settle in.
18:30 | LEARN
We begin with the foundations of bachata before exploring leading, following, connection and sensual partner movement.
You’ll have the opportunity to rotate between partners throughout the workshop, giving you a playful way to meet, move and connect with different people.
Come with a partner and stay together if you prefer. Come single and let the dance introduce you.
20:00 | SOCIAL DANCE
Now we take away the instructions and open the floor.
Fast songs. Slow songs. Drinks. Dancing. New faces.
Dance again with the person who caught your attention.
Ask someone completely new.
Have a drink. Flirt a little. See where the evening takes you.
Come single and perhaps leave with a new friend, dance partner, hot date, lover or number in your phone.
Come as a couple and discover a deliciously different way of moving together.
No dance experience needed.
Just curiosity, an open mind and a willingness to ask:
